Our short
course, Kinesiology Foundations provides a solid grounding in Kinesiology. It
is comprised of the Kinesiology units taught in the first semester of the
Diploma course.Kinesiology
Foundations gives you a core set of skills that are highly effective for
helping people with a wide range of issues/problems and provides a foundation
for further study.
This short course will suit if you are;
- * wishing to study Kinesiology Certificate IV / Diploma and would like to wet your appetite first.
- * a qualified health professional who would liek to add muscle monitoring and other Kinesiology skills to your current practice.
- * currently skilled or developing skills in another health-care field, and wish to enhance those skills with Kinesiology
- * wanting to develop skills to use for the benifite of family & friends.
Kinesiology
Foundations can be studied one evening a week, full time or part time over several weekends. The
evening course is conducted over 20 nights while full time and part time study
is approximately 10 days. All course content is based on clinically proven
material, and covers the same content as the first units of the Certificate IV or
Diploma in Kinesiology qualifications. On successful
completion of a competency assessment you will receive a Statement of
Attainment. This credit unit will count as Recognition of Prior
Learning toward our Certificate IV or Diploma qualifications.

If you are
considering continuing with the part-time or full-time Diploma or Certificate
IV course, we highly recommend you also complete the first six half-days of
Anatomy and Physiology classes.
