The course focuses on both the theoretical and the practical side of Kinesiology, with most modules allocating almost equal time to lectures and student practice time. This means students are able to apply and cement the theory they learn under the guidance and supervision of a lecturer. Full time and part time study options are available for the Diploma of KInesiology. The Diploma of Kinesiology course includes approx 1,365 hours of training.student.jpg

All students are given the opportunity to attend Prac Days and Nights held on campus, during which they can practice their techniques with fellow students with a supervisor at hand to answer all questions and provide demonstrations. By practicing and using the skills gained in the last module, students grow more confident when using them.

Second year Diploma of KInesiology students have the opportunity to practice in our Professional Kinesiology Training Clinic. Here, students work on members of the public as practitioners with a supervisor present to support them and give them feedback. The Kinesiology Training Clinic ensures students gain experience in working with clients on a professional level and prepares them for running their own Kinesiology Clinic.

The College of Complementary Medicine provides all equipment and materials for student use on College premises for the purposes of practice, including a variety of flower remedies, tuning forks, charts, practice tables, and a reference library.
